LIZ DOMINGUE NATURALIST-BIOLOGIST-PHOTOGRAPHER Liz Domingue is a naturalist and wildlife biologist with a Master’s Degree in Wildlife and Conservation Biology. Liz has conducted scientific research on birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and plant life for more than 15 years. She has honed her skills as a naturalist since early childhood and has gained extensive outdoor experience while hiking, backpacking, canoeing and photographing wildlife in their natural habitats across the United States, in the US Virgin Islands, Canada, and Central America. As the originator and operator of Outdoor Adventures, Liz leads guided interpretive hikes and conducts environmental education programs for youths, adults, and fellow educators. Through her research, photography and outdoor education programs, Liz encourages awareness, understanding, enjoyment, and stewardship of our natural world. Liz is an author of the guidebook "Paddling Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge"; a contributing writer, photographer and consultant for McGraw-Hill Science Textbooks; and she has written instructional publications for teachers and 4-H leaders. Her photographs have been published in a variety of publications such as: Outside, National Parks, Blue Ridge Country and Florida Wildlife magazines; in local and regional newspapers including the Appalachian Voice and Appalachian Adventurer; and in books such as the Audubon Field Guide to Florida, McGraw-Hill Science Textbooks, Paddling Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, and Lerner Birding books.
