Kendall Chiles Kendall is a freelance nature and travel photographer with over 20 years of photography experience. Starting out as a yearbook photographer in high school, his interest in photography grew into a hobby and passion to photograph the beauty of creation and America. It is this passion that continues to motivate him and his photography. Over the years his hobby developed into a business that also includes commercial photography. He also has a line of fine art prints, posters, and note cards that he markets to schools based on their mascots. His stock nature and travel photographs have appeared in numerous magazines, books, and brochures. Kendall is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and is also an instructor for the University of Tennessee Professional & Personal Development and the Smoky Mountain Field School. Since 1992 he has been a presenter and workshop leader at the annual Pigeon Forge Wilderness Wildlife Week. He offers half-day and full-day individual photo tours in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He is also a charter member of Southern Appalachian Nature Photographers and has twice served on their Board of Directors. His prints are available at Papworth Gallery, Gatlinburg, TN, Made in Tennessee, Jefferson City, TN, and Frames & Images, Knoxville, TN. His publication credits include Amphoto Books, Blue Ridge Country, Country, Country DISCOVERIES, Country EXTRA, Farm & Ranch Living, Guns & Gear, In the Wind, Knoxville News-Sentinel, Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism, Smoky Mountain Visitors Bureau, Towery Publications, and University of Tennessee’s Smoky Mountain Field School.
