THE PROGRAMS
Our nature
photography programs are divided into two basic types; the workshop and the
field class. The descriptions of each are listed below. We feel we have
something for everyone from the beginner to the professional; no matter
which type of program you choose. Each location has been chosen for it's
natural beauty and photographic possibilities. We strive to plan our
programs with you mind, we want your time spent with Natural Impressions to
be a memorable experience. An experience from which you take home not only
beautiful images but also a fresh new vision and new friends.
WORKSHOPS
Our workshops are structured to be either a one day classroom intensive or a
multi-day program with both classroom and field instruction. The format of
each workshop is different, some of our one day workshops are totally indoor
classroom orientated while others may have both indoor and outside.
FIELD CLASSES
Our
field classes are basically a mini-tour with more hands-on, in the field
instruction, than your normal photography tour. Field Classes are planned
for the photographer wishing to visit an area with people who know the
area well. They are perfect for the photographer wishing to maxiumize
their time spent in the field creating images. During a field class we'll
spend 90% of our time outside creating images; saving 10% for eating and
sleeping. We have found that hands-on training greatly increases retention
levels and the odds of taking home quality images. We keep our instructor
to guest ratio at 8/1 during these programs with the maximum number of
guests we take being held to 12 for two instructors; this insures personal
attention. We are always right there in the field with you, giving you as
much or as little instruction as wish. Field classes are great for either
the person just starting out and wanting to learn as much as possible or
the advanced and professional photographers looking to visit a beautiful
location and add images to their portfolio. Each field class has a
different format, so please check the "Notes" section at the bottom of the program description. We even offer airport
pick-up at some locations.
The number one thing to remember for either a workshop or field class,
come with a love of nature and a spirit of fun!
